About The Luneta Warszawska Hostel

Who doesn’t like a classy and comfortable place to sleep every time you travel away from home? We all love the pleasure of feeling like home and not having to pay an arm and leg for it. If you ever go to Krakow (you should by the way), Luneta Warszawska is the true definition of the “away from home” phrase. And not only that, things tend to get a little bit cheaper than you would expect. Your budget is the last thing you should worry about.

One of the first impressions Luneta Warszawska makes to visitors is its strategic location. It is at the core of Krakow’s city center and surprisingly at a very quiet and decent street. This is a place you can hardly hear the noise of the city. It is a safe haven where you come and go without anyone noticing. You do not even to go out of the hostel to get a taste of the Polish architectural history. The hostel is housed under a 19th century fort. Though it has undergone dramatic renovations and facelifts, the ancient taste is still there and you cannot help but admire the details.

From where the hostel sits, you are only 20 minutes walk from the main market square, one of its kind and the largest in Europe. Most of the attractions are within reach; you can either choose to walk or ride the reliable bus services that will pick and drop you at the hostel’s doorstep.

If you will be spending most of your time indoors, your needs have been taken care of. The rooms’ interiors are a mixture of old and vintage taste. Do not be surprised if you drop a jaw as you admire the beauty in your room. The bedroom is spacious with bunk beds where you can sleep like a baby. If you brought some luggage, it will be safely stacked into military crates. There are laundry and ironing facilities. You will have a private bathroom with hairdryers; a treat that is not so common with other accommodation facilities. Wouldn’t you call this a home away from home? If Luneta Warszawska does not qualify as such then the definition of this phrase is not what I know.

Of your meals, do not worry a thing. There is a modern kitchen with all you would need to make a delicious meal. There is also a courtyard with barbecue provisions. You can cook your favorite meal and grill a piece of goat any time you feel like.
